PEPTIDE KITS FOR USE IN FLUORESCENCE AND U.V. SPECTROPHOTOMETRY

absorption and fluorescence.
Prior studies have often involved the use of the free amino acids,
i.e., tyrosine or tryptophan or with acyl, ester, amide or suitable
combinations of these derivatives, as well as studies on proteins.

| 2. The determination of the dissociation
constant of the phenolic group of tyrosine.

| 3. The determination of tyrosine and tryptophan
of proteins.

tyrosine and tryptophan residues to the milieu additives.
|
| 5. An estimate of the surroundings in which the
tyrosine and tryptophan residues may be located, whether in
peptide or protein.

BOMBESIN FRAGMENT KIT
- Bombesin from amphibian skin has been reported to cause in animals,
stimulation of gastric acid secretion, gall bladder contraction and
pancreatic secretion. It appears Bombesin releases gastrin from the
antral mucosa and CCK from the duodenal muscosa. This kit of five
